About me

I’m a musical director and composer who loves bringing stories to life through music - on stage, in the pit, and especially in actor-musician productions. I thrive on playful, collaborative rehearsals and on bringing bold, character-driven work to the stage. I’m especially passionate about female-led theatre.

After studying Film Music Composition at Leeds Conservatoire and completing an MA in Musical Direction with Distinction, I’ve spent my career guiding performers, shaping music, and crafting performances that audiences connect with. Alongside professional productions, I teach at drama schools across the UK, sharing practical skills and creative insight with the next generation.

Music, for me, is about storytelling, attention to detail, and connection - helping performers find their full musical potential while keeping the process energising, playful, and rewarding.
